Garden & plants side dressing material

Native garden & plants soils

Compost also works well as a garden plants side dressing material. Composting just happens - it's nature's way of keeping our planet clean - and by using your new Composter you can give nature a helping hand, and keep your garden tidy too! Where to put your Composter It's best to place it on a level, well-drained piece of soil as this allows excess water to drain out and makes it easier for worms, microbes etc to get in and help break down your compost.

Cutting blades and metal parts should be wiped and oiled. Cut back on the plant food you give them, and let their growth garden & plants slow considerably. It’s amazing how dark our homes really are.

Cut out all dead and seriously diseased wood and, if desirable, thin out branches from dense specimens. It is often advantageous to provide for more side light by removing some lower branches to "raise the heads" of trees that cast too dense shade. Cute cheerful yellow blossoms, thus the "Goldie Locks" plant perfect for a garden plants window ledge, under lights, as well as a patio pot plant during the summer. Eventually creating its own miniature "standard" shape on its wiry woody stem unless you pinch the growing tip to encourage branching. Cut diagonally to mark the portion of the root farthest from the trunk.

Trees are large woody plants which generally have a single trunk. A woody stemmed plant which grows less than 12 feet high is usually classified as a shrub, whereas a single trunked plant which grows more than 10 feet high is usually considered a tree. Trees add charm and beauty to any landscape. They provide cool shade and help filter dust.

Native plants don't require fertilizer, have good root systems, and are better at utilizing the water and nutrients available in their native garden & plants soils than non-native species. Perennials, shrubs, wildflowers, or a mixture of all three can be planted. Native ragweed is one native plant which is highly allergenic.
